Not boring at all, no! Or at least, my job isn’t. There are a huge variety of jobs available in science, from being a University lecturer, to a GP or a pharmacist or a school teacher or making TV programmes about science. Most of those jobs are very varied and interesting.

What else do you need to know for your project?

No! I think it’s not boring at all because the natural world is a wonderful place and science is the best tool wevhave to understand it. It can be hard at first, and it can be a bit boring to do all the work necessary for it to stop being hard though

      Hi Booh,
No, being a scientist is not boring at all. One of the reasons I like it so much is that every day is different so there is not much chance to get bored. Some days, when i don’t feel like doing experiments, I can jut do some reading or researching, and vice versa, i also get to travel to great places, give talks and I am constantly learning new things. The people i work with are great as well and we have a laugh in the lab.
What is your science project on? I hope you are enjoying it!

No, being a scientist isn’t boring. You’re always learning new things and discovering things that no-one knew the day before… How could that ever be boring? Plus, you get to travel to new places and meet lots of new interesting people – I love it.
