They are cleaner and more efficient than fossil fuel power plants, but there will eventually run out of fuel too. So renewable energy sources are the best solution. Hydrogen cells may be the future, there’s lots of it and water is the only waste product, but the technology is not working yet.

Well, that is a tricky one to answer as I do not really know that much about nuclear power. I do know that our non-nuclear fuel sources are limited and at present, nuclear energy does supply us with about a quarter of all our electricity. That said, nucelar energy is also not a limitless supply and there are disadvantages to using nuclear plants.

I think that in the future, we should be concentrating more on renewable engery sources to ensure that we do not run out of energy or damage the planet any more by producing either fossil fuel or nuclear energy.

Yes I think so – they produce clean energy and we’re running out of energy so there’s definitely a demand for a new source. Having said that, I’m a bit worried about nuclear waste and a bit worried about the possibility of accidents (i.e. chernobyl) so I think it needs to be carefully regulated. To be honest, I’m a lot more excited about wind, solar and wave power!!!!! Nice and clean and sustainable…
