The fossils I work on are the oldest skeletons ever, and I’m looking at the tiny structures inside them with an x-ray machine called a synchrotron.

Hi Rowingmaster96, I don’t think I am particulary special, I’m just like everyone else! I do think the work I do is quite special tho, It’s a real honour to be able to work with human embryos as they are very precious so that makes me really look after them and really try hard to make my experiments work. I also hope that the work I do can help cure ill people in the future, I think medical research is really important and it will help almost everyone in the world at one time or another and the part I am playing in finding out these things is what makes me different!

I don’t think I’m special – I just love what I do and want you guys to know that…. All the scientists do cool and different stuff- that’s what makes science so brilliant – you can never get bored as there’s always something new to learn about…. Having said that, I think all scientists are special and different from non-scientists. Our work is interesting, it makes a difference to the world and we learn new and exciting stuff everyday. I personally hope that my work will help discover new cures for disease which is a pretty special thing to do!
