• Question: What is the longest word in science?

      Apparently the longest word in science (except some that people have made us just to be the longest – which is cheating) is Pseudopseudohypoparathyroidism (30 letters).

      It’s a kind of genetic disorder.

      I had to look that up I’m afraid. The longest scientific word I can think of, without google helping, is micropalaeontological (20 letters) which means anything to do with tiny fossils.
