I did a project at A-level into the antiseptic properties of cooking ingredients. I got some bacteria and put my mums food ingredients on them to see what happens. The herb thyme is a really good antiseptic!

the most fascinating thing I have ever seen is watching a human embryo divide. These are really precious little tiny once cell things and the first division from one to two cells is really exciting as it’s really the start of making a whole new person! I am really lucky to be able to work with human embryos and it’s really exciting watching them grow and divide!
