      Because food isn’t just food for us, it’s also food for all kinds of miniscule lifeforms like fungi and bacteria. When they eat the food, they break it down and reproduce which makes food go off and mouldy…

      Its all due to sugars, bacteria fungi and moisture in the food, that coupled with nice cosy temperatures makes a great environment for mould to grow in!
